La Val Taro

Devo molto al "mio" fiume, traggo ancor oggi molta ispirazione da questi luoghi, ogni volta che ci torno è sempre un'emozione, e sono un balsamo per il mio spirito nei momenti difficili, luoghi di ristoro e raccoglimento, dove sempre mi ritrovo con me stesso.

Certo non parliamo di natura selvaggia e paesaggi incontaminati, qui non abbiamo orizzonti spettacolari e visioni mozzafiato, il territorio è fortemente antropizzato, per molto tempo maltrattato da attività umane invasive, e dal poco rispetto e amore da parte delle persone comuni. Siamo sempre schiavi di questa piccola mentalità secondo la quale le cose belle sono sempre altrove e lontane.

Ma finalmente vedo che negli ultimi anni qualcosa sta cambiando, c'è una maggior consapevolezza, un maggior rispetto, e vedo finalmente persone che vanno nel fiume e nella valle con occhi diversi, più ben disposti verso il bello che si nasconde nelle cose semplici, vedo gente che torna al fiume e si diverte, gente che passeggia, si bagna, va in bicicletta, corre, fotografa, e questo mi fa molto piacere. Anche l'ambiente è più curato, nuove piste ciclabili, nuovi sentieri, accessi al fiume sbarrati, c'è ancora tanto da fare, ma vedo segnali positivi.

La gioia non è solo nei viaggi oltre oceano, ma anche e soprattutto appena al di là del nostro naso, perché è qui ed ora che viviamo, e qui ed ora dobbiamo apprezzare il bello che ci circonda, e quello che ci circonda, per essere bello, deve essere amato, e l'amore è soprattutto rispetto. Il mondo è un posto bellissimo da scoprire, anche dietro casa, ne va della nostra felicità.

E come gesto d'amore e di riconoscenza per la mia terra, ho creato queste pagine, dove racconto le mie emozioni nell'unico modo che so fare: fotografando !

Alla fine poi la Val Taro, il suo fiume, è solo un pretesto, una scusa per parlare di bellezza e di natura, per descrivere la poesia del paesaggio e delle stagioni, e la meraviglia insita nelle cose apparentemente semplici.

Il mio intento in queste pagine non è informativo o divulgativo, non voglio spiegare niente a nessuno, attraverso le mie fotografie, io vorrei solo raccontare la mia visione, vorrei emozionare ed incuriosire, perché non c'è niente di più bello che esplorare e scoprire.

I owe a lot to "my" river, I still draw a lot of inspiration from these places, every time I go back there is always an emotion, and I am a balm for my spirit in difficult moments, places of refreshment and meditation, where I always find myself with myself.

Of course we don't talk about wild nature and unspoiled landscapes, here we don't have spectacular horizons and breathtaking visions, the territory is heavily populated, for a long time mistreated by invasive human activities, and by the little respect and love by all of us. We are always slaves to this small mentality according to which the beautiful things are always elsewhere and far away.

But finally I see that in the last few years something has changed, there is a greater awareness, a greater respect, and I finally see people who go to the river and the valley with different eyes, more well disposed towards the beauty that hides in simple things, I see people going back to the river and having fun, people walking, bathing, cycling, running, photographing, and this makes me very happy. Even the environment is more cared for, new cycle paths, new paths, barred accesses to the river, there is still much to do, but I see positive signs.

Joy is not only in travel overseas, but also and above all just beyond our nose, because it is here and now that we live, and here and now we must appreciate the beauty that surrounds us, and what surrounds us, to be beautiful, must be loved, and love is above all respect. The world is a beautiful place to discover, even behind our house, our happiness depends on it.

And as a gesture of love and gratitude for my land, I created these pages, where I tell my emotions in the only way I can do: photographing !

In the end then the Val Taro, its river, is only an excuse, an excuse to talk about beauty and nature, to describe the poetry of the landscape and the seasons, and the wonder inherent in seemingly simple things.

My intent in these pages is not informative or divulgative, I don't want to explain anything to anyone, through my photographs, I would just like to tell my vision, I would like to excite and intrigue, because there is nothing more beautiful than exploring and discovering .
