The light: soul food

Sunset towards the Groppi di Camporaghena in Lunigiana this evening. When I see these landscapes, I chase them like a hunter chases his prey, and feed on their beauty to the last drop of light. I would perish inexorably without these visions, the best antioxidants against the wear and tear of life !

And then after a few minutes, just before the moment the sun sinks below the horizon, suddenly the mountains are on fire:
