Un relitto industriale arenato sulle sponde del Taro

Urbex at 360° :  an industrial wreck stranded on the banks of the Taro river

Una vecchia fornace in disuso ormai da moltissimi anni, un relitto industriale nel mezzo della Val Taro, a ridosso di un tratto di ferrovia anch'esso da qualche anno dismesso.  

Sembra sorgere dalla foresta vergine questa cattedrale industriale, come una città mitica e misteriosa, come un animale preistorico pietrificato,  oggi abbandonata dai suoi antichi sacerdoti per aver trovato altrove nuove divinità da adorare. 

Solo il silenzio ora, e la gravità, che con forza lenta ma inesorabile attrae a sé ogni cosa.

An old kiln that has been in disuse for many years now, an industrial wreck in the middle of the Taro river valley, close to a stretch of railway that has also been abandoned for some years.

This industrial cathedral seems to arise from the virgin forest, like a lost mythical and misterious city, like a petrified prehistoric animal, now abandoned by its ancient priests for having found new deities to worship elsewhere.

Only silence now, and gravity, which with slow but inexorable force attracts everything to itself.
