A spasso tra la Val Baganza e la Val Sporzana

Trekking ed escursionismo non sono solo attività di alta montagna o di località esotiche in capo al mondo, a volte anche una semplice passeggiata nei dintorni di casa si rivela una piccola avventura ricca di scoperte. Il paesaggio non è solo un prato, un albero e un cielo sopra, paesaggio è anche storia e storie arte, natura, fiori, insetti, chiacchere ed emozioni. Paesaggio è come l'uomo, nel corso del tempo, ha interagito con la natura, per convivere con essa e trovare negli elementi armonia ed equilibrio. Paesaggio è anche agricoltura, che con le sue attività disegna i prati e le colline con grafie geometriche ed astratte. Ma per scoprire tutto questo, nel paesaggio ci devi camminare, lo devi respirare, esplorare, toccare, insomma lo devi viere, perchè in fondo il paesaggio siamo noi, soprattutto nei luoghi dove viviamo. E il paesaggio italiano è il nostro tesoro, perchè è tutto un dispiegarsi di meraviglie ad ogni passo. Ho raccolto in questo album fotografico alcune fotografie dei paesaggi e della natura che è possibile osservare camminando lungo strade bianche e sentieri che collegano la Val Baganza con la Val Sporzana, nei dintorni di San Vitale e Sant'Ilario Baganza, Neviano de Rossi, Maiatico e Sala Baganza.

Passeggiando in sui sentieri e sulle carrareccie di queste colline potrete incontrare, oltre a suggestivi paesaggi, anche diverse testimonianze storiche, come i castelli di San Vitale Baganza e Selva Smeralda o case forti come quella di Neviano de Rossi, Palmia o la bellissima Torre del Boriano. Bella la chiesa del Poggio di Sant'Ilario con i suoi bassorilievi medievali, mentre alle porte di Sala Baganza si trovano ancora i resti di un acquedotto di epoca romana. Non meno interessanti sono le testimonianze di archeologia industriale sparse nel bosco attorno a Vallezza di Respiccio, dove si trovano i resti dei pozzi petroliferi che qui succhiavano l'oro nero dal sottosuolo parmense agli inizi del secolo scorso.

Trekking and hiking are not just high mountain activities or of exotic locations around the world, sometimes even a simple walk around our house can became a small adventure full of discoveries. The landscape is not just a meadow, a tree and a sky above, landscape is also history and stories, art, nature, flowers, insects, chat and emotions. Landscape is how man has interacted with nature over time, to live with it and find harmony and balance in the elements. Landscape is also agriculture, which with its activities draws the meadows and hills with geometric and abstract graphics. But to discover all this, you have to walk in the landscape, you have to breathe it, explore it, touch it, in short, you have to live it, because after all ourself are the landscape, especially in the places where we live. And the Italian landscape is our treasure, because it is all an unfolding of wonders at every step. 

Walking along the paths and cartways of these hills you can meet, in addition to suggestive landscapes, also various historical testimonies, such as the castles of San Vitale Baganza and Selva Smeralda or strong houses such as that of Neviano de Rossi, Palmia or the beautiful Torre del Boriano . The church of Poggio di Sant'Ilario is beautiful with its medieval bas-reliefs, while at the gates of Sala Baganza there are still the remains of a Roman aqueduct. No less interesting are the evidence of industrial archeology scattered in the woods around Vallezza di Respiccio, where there are the remains of the oil wells that sucked the black gold from the Parma underground at the beginning of the last century.
